Book Club EP 2:

Welcome to ACOMAF.

A Court of Mist and Fury was by far the best book I’ve ever read. The action, the love, the tension, the drama. She was a 5/5. As always… spoilers ahead so be careful.

Let’s start by doing a quick run through, and I mean quick. The book is around 660 pages, so we won’t dive deep.

ACOTAR has it’s happily ever after with Feyre and Tamlin in love and back home. The only downside? The bargain with Rhys. Or so we think…

As the wedding rolls around we see Feyre’s doubts and who comes to her rescue? Rhysand.

The book follows The Night Court, it’s members and Feyre’s journey with Rhysand. We see how Feyre and Tamlin go their separate ways and Rhys becomes the heartthrob.

The enemies to lovers, the will they/ won’t they, the whole plot was magical. If there’s one book I can convince you to read, it’s this. And the plot twist at the end?!?!

TikTok has gone mad for the whole series, with people saying how they wish they could read it for the first-time again.

The book shows us the other side of Rhysand and his ‘inner circle’, Velaris, The Night Court and we discover some truths from The Spring Court.

I’m now 20 chapters into ACOWAR (Wings and Ruin), and though I’m thoroughly enjoying the experience, so far it doesn’t compare to Mist and Fury.

Tomorrow is holiday day!!! So, I’m hoping to finish Wings and Ruin and start the fourth instalment.

The book finishes with a full circle and Feyre is back in The Spring Court. Unlike with ACOTAR, this isn’t such a ‘happily ever after’, which I thought I needed. But actually, the lack of closure at the end doesn’t seem too bad when the next instalment is sat waiting for you.

PS how did we feel when Rhys told Feyre they were mates? Somehow I fell even more in love with the book.
